The Preview

The buzz starts in the spring when the preview day gives a tease of what will come. A chance for the drivers and teams to shakedown as the season starts. The day has a ‘club feel’ to it.

The Racing

When the weekend of racing comes around in late July, the Silverstone circuit reverberates with the sound of engines roaring past. My focus this year was away from the racing, but I managed to sneak a few quick shots.

The Pitlane

A photographers joy, with action punctuated by quiet. Driver changes give excitement.

The Paddocks

One of my favourite places is the paddocks, the smell of the cars, the mechanics feverishly working away to bring speed to their cars. A sense of team and purpose.
