A January day
South of the River
We headed to the Thames, the cities energy seems to flow along the banks, with the tides.
Maltby Street Market
This market, tucked along the arches which support the mainline railway is vibrant and energetic with food and homewares stalls.
Architecture
From the modern design of City Hall to the traditional warehouses the architecture that flows south of the river changes as much as the tides.
Borough Market
The foodie market in London, with suppliers coming from far and wide. Well worth a visit if you are in town. Coffee from Monmouth St, a hearty breakfast from Marias Market Cafe, doughnuts from Bread Ahead. Cheese from Neals Yard, Meat from the Ginger Pig, Vegetables from Turnips. Come hungry!
